Hailing from Paradise, California, Smith's musical journey has been shaped by triumph and tragedy. After losing his home in the 2018 Butte County Camp Fire, he channeled his emotions into the song One of These Days. The song's reception inspired him to move back to Nashville and reignited his career, eventually landing a deal with Sony Music Nashville after going massively viral on TikTok with the song "Wildfire".
